Cake Smash Booking & Planning Timeline
To ensure we have enough time to create something beautiful for your little one, cake smash sessions must be booked in advance and follow the planning timeline below:
Custom Sets (4+ Weeks Notice Required)
If you are choosing a custom-designed setup — including any new theme, custom backdrop, specialty props, or personalized elements — your session must be fully booked and your planning questionnaire completed at least 4 weeks prior to your session date. This gives us time to design, source, and create all the special details that make your setup unique.
Non-Custom Sets & Balloon Garland Themes (2+ Weeks Notice)
If you are selecting one of our existing non-custom themes or a setup featuring a balloon garland (small cutouts ok), sessions may be booked as little as 2 weeks in advance.
Need a Session Sooner?
Because our self-booking system requires a minimum of 2 weeks notice, families hoping to schedule a session within the next two weeks must choose from our existing studio backdrops (non-custom, non-balloon setups only) and should please reach out through our CONTACT PAGE. I will offer any sooner availability is dates are open.

We do our best to accommodate last-minute sessions whenever possible, but availability is limited.

Choose your date and start time below. Please choose based on your child’s morning nap schedule with the start time at a 2 hour wake window. Best time is first thing in the morning, just after the morning nap or a car nap on the way. If you are booking in advance and your baby’s nap schedule changes before the shoot date let me know and we will adjust the start time. I do one client a day and this is your baby’s day – we want them as happy and well rested as possible!
Once you submit your requested session date, you’ll automatically receive an email outlining everything included in your session, just as listed on the previous page.
After completing your full booking (signed contract and retainer payment), you’ll receive a booking confirmation email along with a detailed prep guide to help you feel fully prepared for your session.
