Our Signature Newborn Session is designed to be a relaxed, stress-free experience while we create timeless images of your newest little love. When you arrive, you can get comfortable—pajamas and a messy bun are welcome! While you’re being pampered by our licensed hair and makeup artist, we’ll begin capturing sweet solo portraits of your baby in six fully styled prop setups, using our collection of beautiful wraps, props, and accessories, along with 5–6 classic posed images on three different backdrop colors.

After the solo portraits, we’ll invite the whole family in for parent and sibling photos, capturing the connections that make this season so special. The result is a full, cohesive gallery that tells the story of your baby’s earliest days, creating a collection of images you’ll treasure forever.

With over 15 years of experience photographing newborns, I’m known as the ‘baby whisperer’—able to soothe and guide even the most awake and alert babies into calm, comfortable poses.

Safety is always my top priority, and I never take risks with days old new life. For poses that require extra creativity—like froggie, the swing, or other composite images—I use professional compositing techniques to ensure your baby is fully supported at all times.

FAQ

A newborn session is typically 3 hours in length plus viewing your session images. This allows lots of time for snuggles, feedings and to settle your little one into multiple poses and props. Newborn sessions take a lot of experience and patience and knowledge of how to follow a baby’s cue’s and know when they need a break and when they are done.

No! I absolutely love capturing the connection of family. When it comes to my newborn sessions sibling and family photos are included in all sessions. My sessions have no rules or set limits – we shoot what you want!

We will hold your newborn session on the calendar with your due date. I book a limited number of sessions per month and this includes due dates. When your baby is born, and after you have a couple days to heal we will schedule your photo shoot date for when baby is 10-20 days old. Newborns are best photographed under 3 weeks old, under 2 is preferred. This way baby is still super sleepy and bendy and we can have a wonderful session with lots of sets!

Yes! Please do not hesitate to contact us if your baby is already here to see if we can squeeze you in. Although we prefer babies under three weeks old, we will photograph babies up to 6 weeks old.
