The Luxury Maternity Experience

Pregnancy is such a fleeting season — full of anticipation, change, excitement, and those quiet moments before everything shifts. It can feel long while you’re in it, yet somehow passes so quickly once your baby is finally in your arms.

Maternity sessions are typically photographed between 28–34 weeks, when your belly is beautifully round but you’re still comfortable enough to move and pose with ease. Every pregnancy is different, though, and I regularly photograph moms both earlier and later depending on comfort level, multiples, or personal preference.

With nearly 20 years of experience photographing mothers and babies, my goal is to make your maternity session feel effortless from beginning to end. You don’t need to know how to pose, what photographs well, or exactly what you want before you arrive. I’ll guide you through the entire experience while creating a beautiful variety of images that feel like you.

Whether your vision is modern and minimal, soft and romantic, glamorous and dramatic, casual and intimate, or bold and editorial, we’ll create a session that celebrates this season in a way you’ll want to remember.

what to expect

Your maternity session is designed as a full-service, relaxed experience without strict time limits or complicated packages. Your session time is reserved for you, giving us the freedom to create multiple looks, change outfits, and work at a comfortable pace without watching the clock.

You’ll have full access to the Tiny Dreamers maternity wardrobe, featuring 100+ maternity gowns, along with fabrics, bodysuits and styling pieces. You’re also welcome to incorporate your own clothing — a favorite pair of jeans, a simple top, lingerie, or anything else that feels like you.

I’ll help you choose looks that flatter your body and photograph beautifully, and you’ll be fully guided through posing throughout the session. You never need to worry about what to do with your hands, where to look, or how to stand.

Partners and children are always welcome. We can create portraits of you alone, with your partner, with your children, and together as a family so your finished gallery tells the complete story of this chapter.

If you’d like to add professional hair and makeup, I’ll coordinate everything for you with one of my amazing artists right here in the studio. You can simply arrive, relax, and enjoy being pampered while getting camera-ready for your session. Hair and makeup is paid directly to the artist.

Your Images

I’ve simplified the entire experience around what families tell me they value most: their photographs.

There are no sales appointments, no pressure to purchase after your session, and no large packages filled with products you may not want or need.

Instead, I personally curate the best images from your session. Each is professionally retouched in my signature style and delivered in a private online gallery as a high-resolution digital download.

They’re your memories — ready for you to download, print, share and save for years to come.

And if you do want something tangible, beautiful heirloom products are always available à la carte, including custom albums, wall art and keepsake pieces. They’re completely optional and can be added whenever you choose.

Most importantly, your session is never rushed. This time is set aside for you. You can relax, change looks, take breaks when you need them, and enjoy the experience while I take care of the posing, lighting and details.

Your newborn session is completely baby-led with no strict time limits, allowing plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, and creating a relaxed experience for everyone. Family and sibling portraits are always included.

The best part? I handle all the details — gowns, wraps, props, styling, custom setups, and guidance every step of the way. You simply show up and enjoy the experience while I create artwork your family will treasure forever.

This way you are nicely round and showing well but are still comfortable enough to move around, get on the floor, change clothes and stand for the session. I recommend booking your session once you enter the second trimester.

Yes! I include complimentary hair and makeup with my signature maternity sessions so you can have a day of pampering. You will arrive at the studio where my artist will be set up, she will do your makeup with lashes – it’s your choice whether you would like a natural or glam look or somethign in between!

Because my schedule is often very full, I ask that gown try-ons be scheduled in advance—but you are absolutely welcome to come by the studio to try on dresses before your session!

If you have any specific fit concerns or are looking for something particular, please reach out and we can always discuss ordering a custom piece for your session. I want you to feel amazing in what you wear.

Yes! Although sessions are mostly mom we will definitely include your partner and children in some session packages.

All my dresses are stretch jersey and I order in L/XL for most so they will fit larger mommies but I can clamp them for smaller moms.
